Injectable fillers

Injectable fillers – Soft-tissue fillers – Soft-tissue augmentation

Dermal fillers can be used for the cosmetic treatment of facial lines, and the rejuvenation of skin and underlying tissues. They provide a safe and effective strategy for diminishing or erasing early signs of aging. Fillers work by bulking up facial tissue, and can be used to fill in lines and contour dips in the face.  There are several types of fillers that have been approved for these specialized applications, most are temporary, lasting between six months and two years:

  • Calcium hydroxyl apatite
  • Collagen
  • Hyaluronic acid gel
  • Poly-L-lactic acid
  • PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate)

Options to combine with Dermal Fillers:

  • Lip Enhancement
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Skin Rejuvenation and Resurfacing

Female Genital Plastic Surgery

Vaginal rejuvenation aims to improve the appearance, size, function, and reduce pain related to changes in female genitalia. There are several procedures that may be included:

Labiaplasty – reshaping of the labia

Vulvaplasty – reshaping of the vulva

Vaginal rejuvenation can provide renewed self-confidence and comfort for affected women.

Eyelid Lift

Eyelid Lift - Blepharoplasty

Cosmetic eyelid surgery is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, restoring firmness to the area surrounding the eyes, for a more rested and refreshed look. Specifically, eyelid surgery can treat: excess skin and fine wrinkles, lose or sagging skin, excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelids, bags under the eyes, and droopiness of the lower eyelids.

Brow and Forehead Lift

The brow and forehead lift is a surgery that elevates aging brows and forehead and improves droopy eyelids. Some brow lift techniques also improve forehead and brow wrinkles.

The difference between upper eyelid surgery and brow lift surgery are numerous. With upper eyelid surgery, the upper lids are improved but the brow position is unchanged. The brow lift, however, improves the baggy upper eyelid skin and also elevates the brows to a more youthful position.

The procedure is generally performed with IV or general anesthesia but can also sometimes be performed with local anesthesia. It may be combined with upper and/or lower eyelid surgery, facelift, or other cosmetic procedures.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is designed to reduce the size of a woman’s breasts. It may also improve the overall appearance or shape of the breast and help balance breast asymmetries. It helps in the treatment of physical complaints such as the neck, shoulder, and back pain experienced by many women with large breasts.

Skin, along with breast tissue and fat, are removed to create smaller, shapely breasts. An added benefit where ptosis (droop) exists is a simultaneous uplift of the nipple-areolar complex to a more normal position. The areolae (darker skin which surrounds the nipple) may also be reduced in size and made more symmetric.

Breast Lift

A breast lift raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. Sometimes the areola becomes enlarged over time, and a breast lift will reduce this as well. If there are also problems with excess volume or size of the breasts, a reduction may be done at the same time. Volume loss may be corrected by breast augmentation at the same time. Asymmetries may also be improved. There are incisions made directly on the breasts which may extend around the nipple-areolar complex, into the front of the breast, and into the breast fold, depending on the degree of droop, asymmetry, and volume considerations.

Arm Lift

An Arm Lift, or Brachioplasty, reshapes drooping, sagging skin and fat deposits underneath the arm from the underarm to the elbow. While diet and exercise can help to improve body contours, they cannot reshape sagging skin. An upper arm lift may be combined with liposuction to create a sculpted upper arm that complements the rest of your figure.

After losing a significant amount of weight, removing excess skin from beneath the arms provides an uplifting improvement in the shape and overall appearance making it one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures after massive weight loss surgery.

Abdominoplasty

Also known as abdominoplasty, a tummy tuck removes excess fat and skin, and in some cases restores weakened or separated muscles. This creates an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer, often enhancing body image and confidence. The actual placement of incisions and design of the abdominal incision varies depending on the excess of the skin and the underlying tissues, the condition of the overlying skin, and prior scars.
